CHRISTIANITY
INTRO:
What is Christianity? Well, it's a religion that takes up most of the U.S.A.
This religion is actually quite interesting, all the customs, facts, and story's about
this religion just fascinates you. Today there is almost over 2 billion people following
this custom.

FOUNDER:
Christianity was founded by Jesus of Nazareth(a Jewish carpenter) in c. 33 A.D. Over the years almost 2 billion people have followed this religion, it's the most popular religion in Europe, South America, and North America. It has became the most used religion in the U.S.A.
CHRISTIAN HOLY BOOK:
The Christian holy book is called the bible containing of the New and Old Testament, this has became the official holy book of this reglion. The Bible is used at worship (church) every Wed. and Sunday.
HOLIDAYS:
This is a reglion that believes in a lot of holidays for example, Christmas , it's the day that Jesus Christ was born. Advent is the season leading or getting ready for Christmas. Epiphany is the memory of when the Three Kings visited Baby Jesus after he was born.Lent, Good Friday is the friday before Easter but reminds us of Jesus Crucifixion. East
er is the day that Jesus moved from his tomb to the cross where he died. They then realized that Jesus had came back to life. They believe that All Saint's day is the day to honor all the saint's known and unknown to the people.
CUSTOMS
With some of those holiday's there are some customs that go with it, For example, for the holiday Lent, you are not allowed to eat meat. But not all customs relate to holidays, There is Confirmation, this is when a child attends bible school or Sunday school for a number of years. Until he/she knows what all is required. Some more are, marriage when older, and worshiping(praying) to your good about the things you are thankful for.
--The Christian fish, the two most popular signs to represent Christians is the cross and this fish.
